Stephen F. Austin was arrested by the Mexican government upon Santa Anna's request.
Battle of San Jacinto
Santa Anna sent the Mexican Army to retrieve a cannon from the Texans. This is what caused the Battle of Gonzales. The Texans defeated the Mexican Army.
Colonel William B Travis and the rest of Alamo Defenders were killed at this battle. This led to the rally call of "remember the Alamo".
Santa Anna surrenders to General Sam Houston, which ends the Texas Revolution.
