During King Louis and Marie's reign in France, the people were very unhappy with the unfair treatment due to them being the lowest class. The King and Queen however didn't care, and used up all the 3rd estates money to provide for themselves with unnecessary pleasures while the people of France remained poor and unkept for.

The 3 estates were split very unfairly in France, which each estate getting 1 vote. The 1st and 2nd estate consisted of only 3% of the population of France, but always ended up getting a better voting opportunity than the 97% of the 3rd estate's population. This caused major issues as the people weren't getting equal rights or say.

The Tennis Court Oath was a pledge and a major revolutionary act against King Louis XVI and the French monarchy. It would help them take power for all the people instead of a single ruler, and they planned on making a constitution to fit this new plan. The Tennis Court Oath was made up of the 3rd estate who renamed themselves the National Assembly.

Sparking the revolution, an angry, aggressive, and violet mob made an act of destroying and burning down the Bastille which was a prison - in particular, one of King Louis XVI's favorites. This symbolized the end of the ancien regime.
The march began in marketplaces throughout Paris due to the unfair prices on bread. Bread was as necessary to them as water. They marched to the royal city of Versailles. This took away the independence of King Louis XVI and contributed to the downfall of the corrupt monarchy.
To end the monarchy and take big steps for the start of the revolution, they beheaded King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, as well as their children. Everyone rejoiced afterwards and not only did this spark the beginning of a rebellion, but also a line of death and executions after.
