The Gunpowder Plot

In 1603 Queen elizebeth died then james I became king and people thought that he would help the catholics but he helped the pretesants
King james I makes a speech and anounces that he will be a protesant and he will be making catholics lives even harder
They started to create a plan on blowing king James I up
Guy Fawks was about to blow the gunpowder when a gaurd walked in and captured him
The other people soon get cought and were put into prison
A month later they were punished to death for trying to blow up the king
