Yeah, it's confusing. Who even discovered this stuff in the first place?
Hey guys, remember that project we have about electromagnetic waves? I'm struggling to understand how all these scientists fit together."
"I think it started with Hans Christian Oersted. He found that electricity and magnetism are connected.
Right! He showed that an electric current creates a magnetic field. That was a big deal.

André-Marie Ampère. He basically made the whole thing into a mathematical equation.
"So, after Oersted, who came along?"
"Exactly. He even came up with Ampère's Law, which is still used today."
Wow, that's impressive. So, he figured out how to calculate the strength of magnetic fields based on the current?

"That's where Michael Faraday comes in. He discovered electromagnetic induction."
"Okay, I get it. But how did we get from magnetic fields to radio waves?"
"Wait, what's that?"
"He showed that if you change a magnetic field, it can create an electric current. That's how generators and motors work!"
