One day, Eve was tempted by a serpent while she was in the Garden of Eden. The serpent convinced her to eat the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which God had told them not to touch. Eve ate the fruit and gave some to Adam, who also ate it. After they ate the fruit, they realized they were naked and felt ashamed. This act of disobedience brought sin into the world and broke their perfect relationship with God. It is known as the Fall of humanity.
