The Journey of Water

Montāžas Teksta

  • The roots of the plants absorb the water and is used for photosynthesis but the excess water moved out of leaves through stomata as water vapor that enters the biosphere in form of gas.
  • Transpiration is a process where liquid water is turned into water vapor by the plants and somewhat similar to evaporation.
  • Runoff is the process Where water runs over the surface of earth. When the snowmelts into water it leads into runoff that combines to from channels, rivers and ends up into lakes, seas and oceans
  • Infiltration occurs when same of precipitates (rain) does not runoff into the rivers and absorbed by the plants the water seeps down into the ground and become pure water and is drinkable.
  • That is how the complete water cycle journey is completed. Nature does this job also known as hydrologic cycle where water moves through the 3phases or states of matter over the 4 sphere (atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere). Hence water is replenished, purified and circulated.
  • Thank you for listening Good bye!See you again
