Narcissus Story

Juno got rid of Echo's speech except to echo other people.
Echo followed the young youth into the mountains because she was in love. She could only talk with echos. She disintegrates into rocks until all is left is her voice.
Narcissus finds a fountain and sees his reflection. He falls in love with his own image.
He stared so long at his reflection that he lost thought of food and water and life. He died.
The nymphs mourned for his death.
The nymphs made a funeral for him, and in place of his body was a purple flower to remember him.
