I was so angry with how the king was treating us. I was sure my fellow patriots felt the same. There was commotion going on between the blasted Redcoats and colonials and so I decided to join. Maybe we would finally show the king that we deserve our rights.
The King had my troop over seas to enforce his laws. Now these dirty colonials are trying to tell us what to do?! I am just trying to do my job but they won't listen to reason. There'll be trouble if this gets any worse.
Nora could see the tension rise as she watched them argue. She felt placing sides between colonists was wrong. She had dealt with everything they had but she wasn't starting fights like the patriots. They thought rioting was the way to get the King to listen.
