- Toussaint was captured by the French. He was held in a French Prison in the mountains and died 10 months later. Even though the head leader of the Revolt was in Prison the Revolutionaries in Haiti still fought back against the French takeover.
- A new leader in Haiti rose from the ranks named Henry Christophe he took charge of the Revolution and Drove the french from Haiti permentaly and cemmented Haiti's independnce.

- Haiti became the first ever successful slave revolution. As well as the first to issue rights to all people no matter race. Even though they had won the war, they faced hardships in the economic status, but this is the end of the Haitian revolution.
