- Yes... The man must kill his neighbor. Even though the man is unaware of my presence, I will force him to kill his neighbor should he decide not to.
- If he decides to kill his neighbor, though, I'll just sit back and watch. It'll be like I didn't even exist ;)
- Hmm... After thinking about it, I think I'll kill my neighbor.

- Awesome, the neighbor is dead and I didn't even have to do anything! The man dosn't know I exist and I didn't affect his decision at all. Had he chosen not to kill his neighbor, though, I would have made him :)

- GAAAH! I'm an evil demon! If you hadn't killed your neighbor of your own accord, I would have made you!

- I killed my neighbor freely, but it doesn't seem like there was any alternative since the demon would have made me kill him anyway...
- So Free Will Theory number 2 must be false. It states that...
- “Necessarily, I am free to do x iff (i) there are no obstacles to my doing x that I cannot overcome by trying in the right way, and (ii) nothing constrains or forces me to do otherwise than x, and (iii) I can do otherwise than x.”
- Yeah! Because I was free in my actions but didn't satisfy premise 3. I couldn't do otherwise.
- So the argument against free will theory 2 must be an incorrect account of what constitutes free will! Yay!
