Mesopotamia is in the middle of the Tigris and the Euphrates Rivers. They decided to come over to this land because water is near them plus the soil is very fertile and good for growing crops.
Polotics
They were polytheists that worshiped hundreds of gods. They went to worship these gods in temples called ziggurats They prayed that they would get crops and food back.
Economics
They invented the wheel which helped them cary around things that they needed to cary around like crops and tools. They also invented other things like time, writing, math, and more.
Social structure
They're king, Hammurabi made a code for people to follow so nothing would get out of hand. Some of the codes would be fair and some were extreme but either way they had to follow the code.
Their type of economics was trading. For examples, someone could give corn and some vegetables for a shirt. They would do this so if something they didn't have and they wanted it they could give stuff that was common for them for something more unique.
