My name is Erica Stella and my last name is also Stella, I’m nowadays 46 years old
I was raised around art because my dad was a photographer and I was a dancer
I made a podcast in my house, I’m not only interviewing random artists, but I’m also going in street art festival
I had a non profit job, it was a 9 to 5 in science, but in 2013 I switched career to support art instead of science and became a photographer
I have a bachelor of fine arts, but I didn’t went far enough in my studies to have a master degree

Because of the internet, some things in the street could be saw by people all other the planet
I realized that being in the hub of NYC permitted to have a real impact in the whole world
I was involved in a street art magazine, I even became the editor. I support the art by telling its story
The 9/11 influenced me to become a real activist, I started documenting what I saw happening

I believe the impact of hip hop is a very influential part street art
My biggest driving force was to make sure every women voices were equally heard and that all the groups were represented
I also believe that street art is rebellion against the galleries
The art is looking to be more an educator and it’s necessary to talk about this topic more
