Long ago, in a small city, there was a poor young man who always travelled from one city to another. One afternoon, he met a crippled beggar who asked for food and water, and he offered what he had at the time because of sympathy for the beggar. The beggar felt grateful to the young man; he reached for his hand, and, in a dry voice, he gave him a magic spell.
Learn it by heart, some day it’ll be useful to you.
Young man! You’re very kind.
Yes, I will. Thank you!
Though you’re poor, you still give me some food. To reciprocate yourgenerosity, I will give you one magic spell.
The person who recites the magic spell will be able to grow any fruit that is out of season, and to fulfill it, the person must bring a bowl of water, blow on it after the spell, and pour it on the root of the tree. But the beggar set a condition that the young man must respect him sincerely throughout his life, or else the magic spell won't work.
