Neolithic Revolution
Now our food source is more sustainable and we don't have to move as much.
We used to be hunter-gathers, but now we are farmers.
Second Agricultural Revolution
We now have a steel plow to help me harvest my crops easier and faster.
With the increase in production, I am now able to work in a factory.
Green Revolution
In the last several years, using the new genecitally modified wheat, I have been able to produce twice as much as I usually would.
The First Agricultural Revolution was the first time that animals and plants were domesticated. People went from hunting and gathering to farming. Although more labor intense, the lifestyle was more sustainable. This created more cities and governments.
The Second Agricultural Revolution brought the world many new inventions including the steel plow, seed drill, and McCormick Reaper. This increased life expecantcy as well as the overall calorie intake.
The Green Revolution used hybridization and GMO's to increase the yeild of agricultural products. It also brought new chemicals, machinery, and irrigation systems. This lead to greater food security and less starvation world wide.
