Helen Adams Keller was born on June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia and died on June 1, 1968 in Easton. She was a writer, lecturer and North American Social Activist. Helen was the first deafblind person to earn a bachelor's degree. In the beginning she was diagnosed with '' Brain Fever'', however today it is believed to be Scarlet Fever or Meningitis.

She gave a lot of motivacional talks on the conditions of the deaf.She won honorary degrees from various universities. She worked for American Foundation, for the blind and founded Helen Keller Internation with George A.Kessler among other things.
So I campaigned for women´s suffrage, labor rights and socialism.I´m very proud of myself because although my physical condition I have traveled 25 countries!
