You know what, sounds good, a nice three layer cake. You think we can make one ?
Good Idea!
I looked through several books and came up with a recipe from several different recipes combined. Strawberry with Chocolate Cream and Coconut Topping.
Sounds good! Good idea to look at the recipes already available and come up with something new!
The students looked at what ingredients they had at home and made a plan of what to buy.
- 6 eggs- chocolate chunks- 3 cups of flour- coconut flakes- 1 cup of margerine- vanilla flavor- 1 cup of butter- 4 cups of water- container of strawberries
Since they had some ingredients at home already, they had to measure the missing ingredients and make a shopping list
Come to think of it, that combination of cake might not be good after all. After looking at the cooking times of the different cakes in the recipe book, we cannot be sure of how long it will actually take to bake.
Yes, and we don't want an undercooked cake. I think we should go with coconut since we can use most of the ingredients for it so they don't waste and we can eat the strawberries and chocolate by itself!
That's a good looking cake!!Since we didn't need the full size ingredients, we used some math skills to half all the ingredients and make the cake half the size.
