ROCK CYCLE-HK

Hi! I am a rock and today I will be telling you all about the cycle of my life!
Firstly, I start off as an igneous rock which was formed when molten lava came out of a volcano , melted and solidified.
Next, I went through the process of weathering and erosion, and got broken down into mud, sand and pebbles. 
Then, I got transported to the sea, ready to begin my sedimentation.
Once enough of my sediments collect together and pile on top of one another, cementation and compaction occurs causing the bottom layers of rock to become whole and solid.
Once my sediments became harder and merged together, I was broken down again along Skeleton Coast, Namibia.
Then i got ready to go through the process which would turn me into a metamorphic rock. I was in the Earth's Mantle and had to be pressurized with extreme heat from the Earth's core and it was sure hot!
So that was my journey of transforming from an igneous rock to a sedimentary one and finally, a metamorphic one. It took lots of time and patience. Thank you!
