  • Erikson's second stage of psychosocial development is when a child enhance confidence to do independent activities from exploration, but can have self doubt when overly protective. In this case, Laurence is confident to do things by himself such as not needing help from his mother to push him on the swing.
  • Erikson's third stage of psychosocial development is the build of confidence to approach the task themesleves through new experience and knowledge or guilty when making mistakes. Laurence took initiative to ask his peers to play tag with him and personally volunteered his role however, they declined Laurence which may conflict his confidence boost and feel guilty to ask next time.
  • Erikson's fourth stage of psychosocial development is the pleasure of achievements of projects, develop a meaningful role back to the socety leading to competency. Laurence won 1st place with his amzing artwork and recieved recognition from his teacher.
