Why is slave centered farming so common in the South apposed to the North? Is there a reason the South's economy formed this way?
The South's warm climate, fertile soil and long growing season make the farming of cash crops extremely profitable!
That can't be the only reasons, can it?
It's not, the south also has open land and lots of rivers which allows for large fields and quick transportation of goods.
