- Apollo's shadow heard all his boasting one day and decided to challenge him to a chariot race with the reward of a wish granted by the loser..
- The race was neck and neck ,but as the day got shorter the shadow was in front of Apollo
- When the two were racing it created the worlds first Solar Eclipse.
- The god and the shadow met back at the temple where the shadow collected his wish.
- The shadow wished to ride next to Apollo to make it look like a shadow was over the sun to remind him not to be so prideful.
