- As though the path had been carved out, Paige safely made her way to the corner store. “Ding!” The bell joyfully sounds as she opens the door.

- In one swift motion, Paige squeezed the cellophane package tightly, planted her foot on the tiled floor, and pushed off into a sprint towards the door. The motion wasn’t as fluid as she had hoped it would be, but she managed to escape the man’s grasp.

- Hey! Let go of her. She’s just a kid
- Her struggle distracted him momentarily, and she seized the opportunity. With all of her might, she stomped the top of his foot with her heel. Like lightning, Paige snatched the package of toilet paper and took off for the door.
