In 613 C.E. Muhammad begins to preach to Makkans about the belief in one god.
Muhammad's teachings disturbe others
I can't believe how many followers I have
I can't believe Muhammad is gaining so many folowers
Also in 613, he urged makka to care for the poor and orphans. He also tried to improve the lives of women.
Boycotts
We are not going to trade or do bissnuiss with you.
Some of Muhammad's clan became muslim, also people from other clans even joined him.

Arabs and weathy Makkan's were unhappy with Muhammad for different reasons. Wealthy Makkans's didn't want to give their wealth and Arab's didn't want to give up their gods.
In approximately 619, the powerful clans of Mekka boycotted Muhammad, by refusing to trade or do business with them.
