Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

Well, she gave it to me!
Hey! Isn't that my wife's sash?
With the sash around his waist, Gawain got off his horse and headed towards the Green Chapel, where his fate awaited.
But it's true!
Nonsense! Guards, take him away!
When Sir Gawain went to the back of the Green Chapel, he found the Green Knight ready to give him a blow.
Please! Give me another chance!
But the Green Knight immediately noticed the sash Gawain was wearing and questioned him.
The Green Knight didn't believe Gawain and called his guards to take him away.
Gawain begged the Green Knight to believe him and to give him another chance, but unfortunately, no one listened.
The guards took Gawain to the dungeon where he would stay for the rest of his sad life.
