- Most of this occurs surrounding Susie's home and father Jack; he takes her death the hardest and tries diligently to find her killer.

- The climax occurs when Susie's sister Lindsey breaks into Harvey's house and finds proof that he was the killer!
- The falling action involves the "experience" between Ray and Susie through her entrance into Ruth’s body. This event further proved that love triumphs in the end. Just like Jack's love for Susie never let him stop searching for answers.
- Jack and Abigail resolve their marriage. Lindsey and Samuel are married and baby. Buckley reconciles with his Mom. Ray becomes a doctor. Susie lets go of Earth finds eternity and happiness.
