- Ponyboy was walking home from the movie house when a red Corvair started trailing him. Five Socs then got out and said they were gonna do Ponyboy a favor by cutting his hair. They pinned Ponyboy to the ground and hit him a couple times, before the gang came and helped Ponyboy.
- Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny all go to the nightly double but when they get there, All of them spot two girls by themself. Dally walks up and sits behind them and starts saying dirty things to them.
- Ponyboy came home late. Darry yelled at Ponyboy for coming home at 2am.Darry then slapped Ponyboy and then Ponyboy ran out of the house and back to the lot.
