Overzicht van Activiteiten
Studenten moeten leren de impact van de lage dopamine- waarden in de hersenen te herkennen na een high van een medicijn. Deze lage waarde is een primaire oorzaak voor herhaald drugsgebruik. Om dit concept zo impactvol mogelijk te maken, is het belangrijk om te praten over hoe het beloningssysteem van de hersenen werkt en hoe medicijnen het veranderen.
In deze activiteit vergelijken studenten het dopamine-effect in een "natuurlijke high", zoals sporten, socialiseren, enz. Met het dopamine-effect van een medicijn. Hoewel het gegeven voorbeeld in deze activiteit kan worden gebruikt als een educatief diagram voor studenten, is het handig voor hen om er zelf een te maken! Studenten zullen een grafiek maken om het dopamine-effect te vergelijken, compleet met een visual om hen te helpen herinneren.
Deze activiteit kan worden aangepast voor studenten om in te vullen na een klasgesprek of voor degenen die extra steigers nodig hebben. Als u de cellen 'hoog' en 'laag' leeg laat voor studenten om in te vullen, helpt dit bij het maken van een verbinding met inhoud. Of verwijder de lijn in de grafiek en deselecteer de hersenen. Wat de docent kiest om toe te voegen of te verwijderen, is afhankelijk van wat ze willen dat hun studenten onthouden en oefenen.

Instructies voor studenten
Maak een storyboard met de verschillen in dopaminegehalte van natuurlijke en medicijnhoogten.
- Klik op "Start opdracht".
- Label de rijen met Drug en Natural.
- Label de kolommen met Hoog, Hoog effect, Laag en Laag effect.
- Maak in de cellen 'Hoog' een voorbeeld van een natuurlijke high en een high die door een medicijn wordt beïnvloed.
- Vul het staafdiagram in en geef nauwkeurige niveaus van dopamine voor zowel natuurlijke high als drugsmisbruik, terwijl het gedeelte van de hersenen wordt aangetast.
- In de cellen 'Laag' creëren een voorbeeld een natuurlijk laag en een medicijn laag beïnvloed.
- Vul het staafdiagram in en geef nauwkeurige dopamine-niveaus voor zowel natuurlijk als drugsgebruik. Markeer het getroffen deel van de hersenen.
- Leg in de beschrijvingen uit wat er in elke cel gebeurt
- Sla de opdracht op en verzend deze.
