De meeste medicijnen vallen in een of meer van deze hoofdgeneesmiddelcategorieën: stimulerende middelen, depressiva en hallucinogenen. Marihuana is een medicijn dat kan worden geclassificeerd als zowel een depressivum als een hallucinogeen.
Vraag je studenten om een beeld te creëren van een stimulerend, depressief en hallucinogeen effect en te beschrijven wat het medicijn met het lichaam doet . Door de studenten te vragen om specifieke drugsvoorbeelden te maken en van hen te eisen dat ze de langetermijneffecten van voortgezet gebruik opsommen, kan een goede manier zijn om de negatieve gevolgen van drugsgebruik te versterken. Monitoring van wat studenten produceren terwijl ze werken, is van cruciaal belang om de inhoudsschool geschikt te houden.
Geneesmiddelen die onder de categorie stimulerende middelen vallen, versnellen het centrale zenuwstelsel wanneer ze in het lichaam worden geïntroduceerd. Effecten zijn onder meer verhoogde hartslag, verhoogde alertheid of energie, verminderde eetlust en mogelijke slapeloosheid.
Voorbeelden van stimulerende middelen zijn:
- Tabak (nicotine)
- Cafeïne
- Cocaïne
- amfetaminen
- methamfetamine
- Adderall / Ritalin
Het is bekend dat depressiva het centrale zenuwstelsel vertragen. Sommige effecten op het lichaam zijn onder meer een verlaagde hartslag, gevoelloosheid, verminderde reactietijd en verminderde coördinatie.
Voorbeelden van depressiva zijn:
- Alcohol
- Marihuana
- Heroïne
- Slaapmedicatie
- Recept Opioïden / Verdovende middelen
- codeine
- Xanax
- fentanyl
- methadon
Hallucinogene stoffen veranderen iemands perspectief van licht, smaak, gehoor en zicht, en veroorzaken mogelijk hallucinaties. Deze effecten op het lichaam maken hallucinogenen populair bij muziekevenementen.
Voorbeelden van hallucinogenen zijn onder meer:
- LSD
- PCP
- Ecstasy / Molly
- Psilocybine (paddestoelen)
- Marihuana

Instructies voor studenten
Maak een storyboard met de verschillende effecten van medicijnen op het lichaam.
- Klik op "Start opdracht".
- Maak een lijst van de drie hoofdgeneesmiddelcategorieën in de titelvakken.
- Noem drie korte termijneffecten en één langetermijneffect dat elk medicijn op het lichaam heeft in het beschrijvingsvak onder de cel.
- Illustreer het effect van het medicijn op het lichaam in de cel met behulp van een combinatie van geschikte scènes, personages en items. Laat het werkelijke gebruik van het medicijn niet zien.
- Sla de opdracht op en verzend deze.
