Part 1

A couple of years ago, a rebellion near my house started a war. Both my parents were killed, and my neighborhood was wrecked.
An explosion knocked me unconscious, and I remained in a coma for 6 years.
When I finally awoke, the nurse on shift was overjoyed. A month later, I was on my way back home.
I was introduced to my new family. I was delighted to have a sister, but Amanda was not so happy.
Robert, Mr Greene, and Mrs Greene were all very polite, however.
I had to share Amanda's room, which she was not happy about. Because of this, I spent most of my time gardening in the backyard.
Then one day, at my new school, I met Lacy. From the first moment we met, we were bffs.
We would meet in my room after school almost every day (I had finally gotten the attic), and chat about just about anything.
When the Spring Dance came along, Lacy asked me to go with her. I had been working up the courage to ask, and was fortunately spared in this manner.
We went to the dance together, as did Amanda and her prep school boyfriend Mark. Both were utter jerks, the perfect fit.
