- Odysseus's boat was pushed to the shore of an unknown island by the solid and uncontrollable winds. Odysseus finds a cave that he and his crew could sleep in that night and leave early the following day.
- In the cave, there were sheep and an unlimited amount of cheese and milk. Odysseus's men started hacking down all the cheese and drinking all the milk because they haven't eaten in so many days.
- They hear someone entering the cave, and a slight baing sound. They hear footsteps come into the cave. And then they see what they never would have believed.#160;
