Rose is now a year old and has begun to put words together. At this stage Sandy realizes that her baby discovers new words nearly every day, follows simple commands easily, and asks questions using one-or two-words. Rose uses her toys to emulate conversation as well as with herself and other people.

Quack Quack ducky. Where elephant?
How was school today?
Today we learned about words that rhyme. Like time, mine, shine, and dime all sound the same. Mary and I played tag at recess today and I won.
By the time Rose reaches year 4. She is able to properly form sentences, can answer questions, and can tell stories while staying on topic. Rose is also capable of rhyming and can communicate easily with adults and children. Sandy is proud of how far her child has come.
