This is a snazzy sentence because it has a feeling first then describes what's actually happening. For example the feeling is gagged and the what's happening, is Johnny almost drops his hot- fudge.
The dialogue between the three charterers is Johnny and Pony boy both want to turn themselves in. The want to do this because they don't want to run away for their whole lives.
The figurative language that I choose was personification. In the text it stated," The women went white''(Hinton 91). This is personification because a women can't actually turn white. I think the author is trying to say that the women was shocked.
The onomatopoeia that I choose was naw. I think naw is onomatopoeia because it's a sound p eople make when they understand something.
The graphic I choose is when Johnny, Pony boy, and Dally help the kids in the church survive. Dally help the kids get out of the window.
The vocab word that I choose was towheaded. Towheaded means a light hair color or white/blonde hair color. It's just like pony boy's hair.
