- Moderation is our legislative branch because it moderates and makes our laws.
- What did I just read? The Georgia flag stands for Justice, Moderation, and Wisdom, but why?
- Justice makes up our judicial branch because that is what we serve to Georgia -justice.
- Wisdom is the quality of having knowledge. Which makes up our executive branch
- Qualifications-21 yrs of age, US citizen, Georgia resident, and local district resident for 1 year. Terms- 2 year terms Duties- include passing bills on public policy matters, setting levels for state spending, raising and lowering taxes, and voting to uphold or override gubernatorial vetoes. Elections- they are directly voted by the constituents of their district

Trial courts hear and try cases for the first time. The five trial-level courts are superior, state, juvenile, probate, and magistrate courts.
- civil law has to deal with disputes between civilians criminal law deals with people hurting other people and felonies.
