You have control over internal factors such as the employees you hire, your finances and resources, and so on.
What about the things that I cannot control?
You have no control over external factors such as the economy, government policies,
people's tastes and preferences, trends, or even competition with other businesses.
Oh my, there's a lot. Would that be a disadvantage to the business?
Even if you have no control over these factors, that does not mean they are a disadvantage to the business. 
All you have to do is respond to them by constantly studying and adapting your business to these factors.
