This is an important scene because it deepens the feud and hatred between both families while lowering the changes of them reconciling. Also this scene is where the prince banishes Romeo from the city.

This scene is important because it shows that Juliet is deeply in love with Romeo to the point of defending him from slander. It also shows that Juliet is still a child by the way she thinks, she hates herself for hating him even if it's a reasonable feeling

This scene is important because it highlights the scene that shows the Father and the Nurse truly want to help Romeo and Juliet be together.They know it's fate for them to be together and want others to be happy for them despite their family fued.
