  • Hi Everyone! Today we are examining the Fairy ring mushrooms.
  • These guys are heterotrophs, but decompose. This means their Saprophytic. The one I'm looking at ate part of a dead deer last week!

  • Oh! I almost forgot! Did you know that they reproduce with spores?

  • Fun fact: Fairy Ring Mushrooms got their name from people who once believed that mushrooms growing in a circle followed the path made by fairies dancing in a ring.
