This is the mantle its pretty hot. There is convection happening . This layer is the second coldest because the heat starts cooling here.
This is a volcano that is formed by tectonic plates colliding. This means we are on a tectonic plates boundary. This is the crust.
This is the inner core mostly made out of molten iron and magma its the second hottest because its very close to the source of heat.

This is the inner core made out of molten iron. this is the heat source for the earth. without it we would all freeze.
The layers of the earth are hotter when there closer to the inner core as heat rises the layers get hot but when it hits the crust it gets cooler and starts to go back to the core to be warmed again

This phenomenon is called convection it is how the earth stays warm and recycles heat. You may not feel anything but it is always happening and cant be stopped. The reason hot air rises is because hotter particles move faster and are more spread out or dense which helps them rise and cold air sinks veisversa
If a heater is going the kid on the top bunk will be hotter than the kid on the bottom because the heat rises up to him
