- Juliet wakes up and finds Romeo dead. Friar Lawrence tells her to run, but she stays behind. In this version, Juliet does not stab herself with Romeo's dagger.
- How is it possible!? She was dead this morning!

- The guards are shocked to find Juliet alive.
- You're in big trouble!

- Their surprise turns to anger when they realize Juliet has tricked them. They tell her she will be returned to her parents immediately.
- Please! You don't understand!

- Fearful of her parents' wrath, Juliet pleads to be let go. The guards don't listen and attempt to drag her away.

- In the midst of the squabble, Juliet manages to grab a torch from one of the guards and runs back to Verona. In a moment of desperation, she will do the unthinkable.
- I love you, Romeo.
- Capulet

- Juliet reaches her house and drops the torch, letting the town catch fire. She proclaims her love one final time before perishing. Everyone dies.
