In Ancient Mesopotamia Their Religion believe in many Gods and prayed for them, because it was part of their Religion.
Most people in Ancient Mesopotamia followed the Religion Polythesim which worship many Gods. They also believed in over hundreds of Gods and Goddesses which had power in different things like Wind, Time, and Justice. In different civilizations people worshiped different Gods.

GEOGRAPGHY
Did you know that Mesopotamia is in between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers!
The Tigris and Euphrates river is next to Zagros Mountain on the East side of the Rivers. Its called Mesopotamia because it means a Between Two Rivers in GREEK. The rivers were used to get crops and water.

In Ancient Mesopotamia They were mostly Monarchy's in Mesopotamia. In Mesopotamia they would organize the civilization in three classes the high class, the middle class, and the low class. In Mesopotamia Since there was a lot of Monarchy's, Mesopotamia was mostly organized by them.
