Sabrina felt the burn instantly because her nerves sent signals through her synapse to her brain. It's almost like a warning that something is hot. This made her react by pulling her hands away from the stove.

This is me when I was a child. My brain wasn't fully developed so I was immature and throwing a fit because I didn't want to go to sleep when I was supposed to. As I got older my brain has matured which makes me act more mature.

Being educated on how the brain works has improved how I go about my days by the way I am more aware about certain things and I am able to handle situations because I understand why someone reacted a certain way to a problem.
Learning about the brain and how specific parts function has made me react differently to certain situations. For example, when Mr. Wilson forgot my name instead of being angry I understood why he forgot it and it wasn't on purpose. Knowing why certain things happen and an individual's reaction to those problems give me a better understanding and view on the situation.
