How do the molecules move, how does magma run through convection, and why???
I wonder how far this goes. What is under the Crust? What is the Mantle like?
I am doing this for science I need to figure out how convection works, how do the currents work, where does the magma come from?
Its really warm down here in the mantle. now to figure out how this convection thing works. I know that warmer magma rises and cooler magma sinks.
The heat source of the mantle, magma, the first part of convection
Up and up I go, this is the convection current everyone is talking about. When I get hot from the core I begin to go up and increase in speed
As I stand on top of this rock on the magma I feel really warm, I am loosing my density and I feel like I am moving faster and becoming lighter
Brrrrrr, its a lot colder up here, even though its still warmer than above ground.i miss the warmth of the magma. As I begin to cool I feel heavier and I begin to slow
Wow being in the current helped me learn how the convection currents work. The less dense you are the higher you rise in the mantle. You also go faster the less dense you are.
I really hope I survive this volcanic eruption, somebody better tell my story!
The End
I also learned that convection currents move in a circular movement. They rise the less dense they are and sink the more dense they are
