- Dear Parvana,Your older sister has travelled to Pakistan with her husband. Me, Ali and Mayrum were leaving Mazar when the Taliban captured us. they tried to take away Mayrum. I fought against them until they took Ali too. I fought to save both of them when they said enough and shot Ali right in front of me, and thrust Mayrum at me. I ran with Mayrum in my arms till we reached a town in Faryab called Maymana. we have no food, water or money, and Mayrum is getting sicker by the day.Please Parvana. help us.Love mother.
