- Beowulf is battling Grendel when one of his men is grabbed and eaten by Grendel.

- AHHH SAVE ME!
- Beowulf's men attempt to help Beowulf, but then realize their swords have no effect on Grendel.
- Lines 790 - 807
- OUR SWORDS AREN't WORKING!!!
- Beowulf defeats Grendel by ripping his arm off, and Grendel then returns to his lair.
- Once again I have won. You may be strong, but my strength is unnmatchable.
- Lines 808 - 830
- Hrothgar thanks Beowulf and adopts him in his heart. Beowulf also gives him Grendel's arm as a trophy
- Lines 979 - 981
- Thank you Beowulf for defeating Grendel and for this trophy.
- After the battle, the everyone comes together to help repair and fix the mead hall.
- Lets work together and celebrate after.
- Lines 990 - 1006
- Beowulf, his thanes, Hrothgar, and the Danes all celebrate the victory in the mead hall with a feast and gifts.
- Lines 1007 - 1061
- Now that Grendel was defeated, we can live in peace!
