- I am sure that I am faster than you, turtle.Do you want to race to the lakeside?
- Sure I will race you.
- And the race began.

- The rabbit started off really fast and thought he would definitely win, but the turtle new that slow and steady always wins the race
- The rabbit was so confident that he would win the race that he decided to stop and take a nap
- As the rabbit slept the turtle kept a steady pace and was able to surpass the rabbit.
- If only the rabbit was as wise as me

- By the time the rabbit woke up and got to the Lake shore the turtle already won the race.
- I win!!
- This shows us that the turtle won the race not because he was faster but because he was wise and knew what he needed to do.
