- Ruby walked every day into her school, even though there were mobs of people shouting at her. Her teacher was amazed at Ruby's bravery.

- Ruby was not accepted at her school. However, each day she went because she wanted to learn. Ruby believed that everyone should accept each other. Every day she would pray.
