  • I am Jacob Riis. I am a Muckraker photographer and writer. My goal was to photograph and report on the poor and crowded living conditions of the lower class in poor urban areas.
  • My efforts were not in vain, as my writings, photographs, and reports of the issue garnered much attention, including that of Teddy Roosevelt. I helped kickstart change and reform of slummed areas

  • In protest I and many other suffragist chain ourselves to the fences of the white house and went to jail. our efforts were eventually heard by one Woodrow Wilson, who passed the 19th amendment
  • During wartime, many barriers regarding women's right of employment fell, allowing women to enter typically male dominated fields. But this change did not come with equity in or or rights.

  • I am FDR, I am who repealed the 18th Amendment. In my proclamation I placed my trust in the American people to not let the relegalization of alcohol taint their health, integrity, and morals
