The 1800 election was a debate against Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. This was the 2nd election for president in U.S history, the first had the same rivals representing. But John Adams won, now the tables have turned because many people disliked John's ruling. In the end, Thomas Jefferson won and became the third president of the U.S!!
