What am I going to do? I can't afford to pay my soldiers and we are in debt.

After the Revolutionary War the United States government was in major debt and could not afford to pay their soldiers.
Rebellion
THATS WHAT YOU GET!!!!
Soldiers returned home expecting their money, but the government couldn't afford to pay.
New Government
Rebellions began happening and citizens began getting even more mad.
Citizens began rebelling by burning court houses and attacking tax collector's.
The state eventually gave into some of their demands after Daniel Shay pointed out that the National government needed to be stronger.
