- Jim walks in with a box. Della looks in the box and she sees a comb, She gives her gift to Jim and it is a watch chain but what she did'nt know was that Jim sold his watch to get her the gift and she sold her hair to get him the gift.
- Both Jim and Della realized that they sold what was most important to them in order to get the gift for eachother and they hug it out.
