As a kid I was in love with Call Of Duty. The action, the violence, the escape from reality- it was perfect.

A part of me always wanted to do what the people on the screen did; Intense action missions, serving the country, doing things others couldn't.

One day during summer camp I told my old friend about my dream jobs. He told me that is was practically impossible to do.

I want to become a Marine. Or a streamer.
Man, That's a bummer. Oh well
For many years to come I felt like a nobody. I played video games, gained lots of weight, and did nothing with my life.

But all of my self doubt faded when I met Andrew. He always believed in me and always pushed me to be at my best.
I'm doing alright. Oh? you're joining the Marines? I wanna do that too!
What's good brother. I'm going to join the Marines

Coming from a similar background as myself, Andrew made me believe that anything is possible, especially seeing his success as a Marine. He has given me determination to enlist and believe in myself too.
