In ancient times, there lived a barbaric king who would use a justice system based purely on chance to decide if a person is guilty or innocent. The accused criminals are allowed to choose from two doors, those two door decided the fate of the accused, and not even the king knew what was behind them.
If the accused criminal opened the wrong door, he would be greeted by a ferocious tiger, which would maul the criminal to death, automatically proving to the king they were guilty.
Now if the accused opened the right door, they would be greeted by a beautiful maiden which would automatically prove the accused innocence to the king and he would be married to the maiden on the spot with a glorious ceremony.
One day, The king found out a handsome commoner had fallen in love with his daughter, the princess, and no one had told him. This made him furious and he threw the commoner into prison without any hesitation.
While at her lovers trial, the Princess faces a tough decision, she knows whats behind both doors and does not want her lover choosing either, but she knows she has to make a decision between the two. She can either signal him to chose the right door which houses the maiden and will allow her lover to live but at the cost of him being with another woman. Or she can signal him to the wrong door, causing her lover to get mauled to death by a hungry tiger. After a long and hard decision she signals him to go to the door on the right.
The princess's lover opens the door on the right, and the story ends there.
